I received The Ballerina’s Gift as an arc. It is a pleasurable and captivating read. It’s a fairly short book but contains all of the necessary elements of a truly spooky book. The Ballerina’s Gift is a wonderful addition to the series. I can happily recommend both The Ballerina’s Gift and The Eyes That Moved. I cannot wait to see what else Rachelle M. N. Shaw will be adding to the series and writing in the future!
Shaw has delivered again. The ending especially leaves the reader wanting to read the concluding tale.
Loved this one! Just as suspenseful as her first work in this series. I look forward to more Porcelain Souls in the future.
I especially love it when a setting becomes a character, and this mansion has become a character in its own right. If you enjoyed The Eyes That Moved, you'll love this follow-up to it. It's a quick read, but it will stay with you for a long, spooky time!
The Ballerina’s Gift by Rachelle M.N. Shaw is the anticipated sequel to The Eyes that Moved in the Porcelain Souls collection. If you’re in the mood for a creepy, quick read but well-written with developed characters, this is the story for you. Marley Harcove is just your average teenage girl living in a spooky house and with each twist and turn, Marley isn’t the only one left scared. A great continuation to the first story, leaving the reader not wanting it to end, eager to learn more about the characters, and the Whitson house (might as well be a character itself with its intriguing and mysterious history that Shaw has crafted). I’m incredibly excited for the next book and love recommending this series to anyone looking for a fun, spooky read.
